obviously you using "green" likely means you are a skeptical as I am. Anything about at stops? will they require Green providers? will they only use electric bus tour operator?
They’re not marketing it as a green ship. They’re marketing it as much more efficient and green than OTHER large ships, which do jack shit in an attempt to be more efficient. So I give any attempt a thumbs up.
Also by coming to Halifax that does, by definition, mean they’re not stopping at “green” ports. If they connect to shore power, 50% of our electricity comes from coal. So if you wanna start a revolution about green power in NS…the back yard is open and available for criticism. lol.
yeah i wasn't going to mention connecting vs using generators in Halifax ;-).
Maybe they don’t have grazing stations set up 24hrs a day, cut back to 12 would be a massive improvement to their food waste.
