nice. if you are around, also check perched in trees on the west side of pond or close to the pump house for a second one. the two herons this morning were not going to share.

No luck. But there’s also enough people at both spots that, if the two aren’t going to share the island, I’m wondering if the other one moved on from the gardens for a bit. Still appreciate the info, in the trees wouldn’t have occurred to me!

Perched herons are fun. If you are still around second heron is by the other small pond (up from the bridge)
