Yeah like I *declare* that the First Amendment doesn't protect like a metric ton of horrific speech That ain't actionable, and politicians not agreeing with me isn't feckless. Laws having weight kinda matters.

Sadly ironic because Trump of course believes more than anybody this side of Michael Scott in the efficacy of "declaring" things. But HE very often finds out it doesn't work too.
