Never bought '90s Image comics or Batman comics. Absolute Batman is like Batman as a '90s Image comic. And I love it.

There all so good tho! I usually try to limit my Batman book to no more than 3 Batman lead titles; I think I’m currently carrying 5 on my pull list 🤦🏿‍♂️.

Fwiw: the three I’m pulling are excellent. But before Absolute I had never pulled a Gotham book that didn’t star a woman. Def more of a marvel/indie reader pre- Escape the Mojoverse.

I read Detective Comics, Batman, Batman & Robin, Nightwing, Birds of Prey and the upcoming Red Hood. I think DC puts out a lot of Batbooks

Generally I have only ever read Gotham Villain books (Catwoman, Ivy, Harley) so this turn to reading Batman has been a big change for me.

Jebus that post was a disaster. Take two: I remember when they released the sketches for Absolute and like classic DC fans, people either hated it or loved it. Might need to stop in and pick it up
