🌿 Changes Are Coming…it’s amazing how the plants just know.🪴

The American Beautyberry berries started changing colors this last week to its eventual amazing purple. The American Pokeweed that sprouted in the front garden is starting to change its berry colors. I’d normally pull this weed, but the birds like the berries, so decided to let it do its thing. Close Up View: The American Beautyberry berries changing colors to its eventual amazing purple. I see. I do the same thing with pokeweed, but I’ll pull the ones that are in the middle of the yard and keep the ones along the fence and up against the trees.

It is currently growing in that front garden & under the red photinia bushes on the side of the house. It’s not my favorite, but provides some color in the front garden & shelters the ground cover from the blazing August sun. Not much thrived this time of year.

I understand. We’ve had a lot of rain this year but in between it’s still been brutally hot. New weeds that like the extra moisture are showing up.😆😩
