It may just be me…I did learn a lot about Cuba that I didn’t know and really liked that aspect. I’m just so averse to things even remotely political these days. You might want to give it a try - honestly, my mood may have tainted it unfairly.

It is currently growing in that front garden & under the red photinia bushes on the side of the house. It’s not my favorite, but provides some color in the front garden & shelters the ground cover from the blazing August sun. Not much thrived this time of year.

Just Finished: The Island Of Missing Trees 🌳🌳🌳🌳 … a beautifully written book, much about civil war ravaged Cyprus, and the impact not only on humans, but all of nature. Learned so much about trees, especially fig trees, and birds, bees, butterflies, songbirds.
🧩 Another jigsaw puzzle completed on a ridiculously hot 🥵 day.
How cool is that?! Paella is my #1 favorite.

It’s really pretty old and doesn’t have the reclining/heated seats, etc. But it’s so full of charm and the “old” and classic nostalgia appeals to me. I’m generally not about all the new and flashy. But, not gonna lie, the comfy/heated seats are pretty awesome. As with most things, it’s a balance.
