I went to a school, in deep red Fairfield County, where in the 1968 yearbook is a Langston Hughes poem. I wonder if someone was trying to say something or if the editor just liked the poem?
And what's that line about "accommodating or adjusting their morals" supposed to mean? Gee, I believed slavery was good but now that I've visited the museum I may have to adjust my morals!
They're so fragile.
