Decided solar for my home was too rich for my blood. I'm going to focus on getting a heat pump water heater and an electric stove to lower my carbon footprint (and possibly get some remaining incentives before the end of the year).

Very understandable and a good approach. There are also still other building improvements with tax incentives as well like insulation and air sealing too. As to electric cooking have you gotten an induction hot plate yet? When I put an $80 one of those next to my gas range I almost stopped using it

Oh yeah, there are also tax incentives for battery storage system and associated electrical upgrades including EV charging too if I'm not mistaken.
