Was just there for over two weeks and couldn’t agree more. US is a f**king embarrassment, so far behind much of the rest of the world. Also spent 3 weeks in Vietnam and it was amazing, EV taxis and mopeds to rent. No police presence anywhere, very open, congenial and safe society.

lot of Americans measure success in how little taxes they pay, when taxes were high in the 1950s Eisenhower built the federal highway system, today every advancement is met with ‘it costs too much, what’s wrong with what we have’
