Was just there for over two weeks and couldnāt agree more. US is a f**king embarrassment, so far behind much of the rest of the world. Also spent 3 weeks in Vietnam and it was amazing, EV taxis and mopeds to rent. No police presence anywhere, very open, congenial and safe society.

Now other victim and I are collaborating trying to find federal, state, local law enforcement who will take up our linked cases (>$5M total stolen) and canāt find anyone interested! I also contacted the FBI in February filing an IC3 report and have had no response.
In the meantime my crypto funds could be moving further on the blockchain. I also was able to connect with another victim in S. Carolina of same/linked scam, which Secret Service confirmed, but didnāt try to assist him or link to the bigger scam operation.
They only traced the crypto once, $2M still in private wallets, $2M in Changelly foreign exchange, $500k in Bequant Prime Ltd (Binance foreign subsidiary). All they did was send a single letter to the 2 exchanges asking if they would provide info (no response, no follow up).
With lead operatives out of Europe and US (I know this). I was able to get the US Secret Service ice to open an investigation in Feb. but they did a very minimal lackluster job, with one agent involved and she was away for a long time doing other work, probably immigration related considering Tucson
This hits home very closely with me because I recently lost $4.5M (my entire lifesavings as I was heading into retirement) to a horrible, extremely well executed social engineering pig butchering crypto investment platform scam executed by one of the huge criminal scam enterprises in SE Asiaā¦
