Tom and Ibis. Tom is the best big uncle to all of our foster kittens. He loves them and teaches them manners and bunny kicks them and cleans their ears.

Tom sounds like my Igor. 15 years old and the most placid and welcoming cat I've ever known.... until one of the others gets a bit rambunctious, then he just sits on them until they calm down 🤣

Aww -that's just like how my first cat Rocky was to every cat we brought in, including the four he raised. But he had a special bond with his little baby Spud - he was like her dad, grandpa, best buddy and big brother all rolled into one.

Have an uncle cat here, male feral ginger, who has been eating here for months and the little kits adore him, I suspect he keeps them warm also. He is a match for our Ginger cat and often confuses us ... the other day Ginge and "Fat Face" both strolled into the lounge room like they owned it.

Haven't developed a strategy for FF yet ... he doesn't spray inside and gets on very well with our regular terrors especially Ginge. Breeding females are my first priority for removal as are quarreling males but FF seems to just fit in ... maybe.

Oh and whatever little kits managed to stay indoors last night all used the litter tray ... steady moves to domestication. We have an open door till 11pm and the small ones KNOW it and would prefer to stay in. The regulars are easy to catch but mostly mosey out when I walk out calling ¨Come on¨.
