Yup. I am always so happy when they graduate from foster care, even when I adore them. My foster fails usually are because we literally failed to tame someone down enough (Tom, Crumpet), not because I loved them too much.

I have a lovely mothery cat that I'd LOVE to foster kittens for (to help her, and help them! She gets so stressed when she hears kittens and can't find them :( ) but my other cat Benny is a grumpy old man and I'm a bit nervous it might not end well. One day, though. I take care of oldies and babs!

A white and tabby cat with green eyes and a pink nose (eyes and nose lined with black) looks at the camera, standing delicately on a metal balcony fence. Beneath her is a bowl of bird fat balls. This is Lucy! An elderly white and tabby cat is sleeping half on a keyboard (that glows red under the keys) and half on a wooden desk; a red dressing gown sleeve cradles his bum from falling off the desk. This is Benny!

I have grumpy big cats too, they just avoided the foster kittens!
