People vote for what's in their self-interest. It's remarkable that anyone still votes GOP, since they now serve only the top 5% or so of Americans. We just need to find a way to help voters in GOP areas see what's in their self-interest and convince them to vote that way.
Right-wing people in the US have been brainwashed over the tail end of the 19th through most of the 20th century to vote against their own best interests. That's why they vote GOP. You can't convince religious zealot bigots that they're wrong in 99.9 percent of cases.
All we can do is continue to share the truth. Some will eventually come around because the GOP leaders have shown they don't care about them at all. If they cared, they wouldn't have confirmed RFK Jr., who is promoting quackery, not science. People will soon die because of this.
It's much easier to hate a person or group someone said was "bad" rather than having to actually stop and think critically about it. It's the only way they can maintain support, by preying on the mentally lazy.. 🫤
