Whenever I hear this sentiment about a "liberal news apparatus" I ask three questions. 1) What message do you think this apparatus should advance? 2) What message would it ACTUALLY advance? 3) Would you accept the answer in #2?
Whenever I hear this sentiment about a "liberal news apparatus" I ask three questions. 1) What message do you think this apparatus should advance? 2) What message would it ACTUALLY advance? 3) Would you accept the answer in #2?
From my experience, #1 and #2 eventually winds up being different in some way, and then leads to the answer in #3 being, "Absolutely not." And then the problem (and reason) for why a "liberal media apparatus" doesn't already exist. It's not from lack of trying. It's because it's impossible.
