Like - a trans man could talk about the fear of being impregnated through rape as a means of forced detransition in states that criminalize abortion - that's REAL - without mentioning trans women at all because it has NOTHING to do with them. "Uterus only space" - that's just asinine TERF shit.

sometimes honestly if it's a user they trust sharing the info + the person in question is somebody they have a strong desire to hate anyways, people will just kinda........ believe whatever information you feed them, even if it's wrong

I'm sometimes amazed at what bullshit people will hallucinate in order to hate others. Recently blocked someone who claimed that a person who was harassed off twitter a while ago was *actually a cis man* even though they were a nonbinary person who was afab. Fucking wild.

I really wish people could just realize that they don't have to LIKE everyone - you can just DISLIKE someone - without massive amounts of recreational character assassination. You don't need to look into their background or keep "receipts" on random people and monster them at every opportunity.

It's been this *thing* for a while that there is a small, but vocal, crew that are legitimately antagonistic toward trans/NB people who were AFAB, often twisting their words to sound awful and then harassing the shit out of them, for funnzies. Sort of a "TME" shooting range activity.

It seems to be the result of anger toward legitimately TERF-adjacent "AFAB" who pull shit like "AFAB only space" or who are recruited into detransition cults - but then going into hyper-pattern-recognition-mode and casting very wide nets for their aspersions. Which is resulting in strife.

Well, the reason is because some folks actually do think that trans and nonbinary people who were AFAB can't be trusted, and are naturally TERF adjacent, especially if they talk about sexism aimed at them. They conflate the OP with the shared posts - because of identity. Which is ironic I guess.

It's an argument in the form of: - This *group* is being unfairly maligned. - Really? Look what this *individual* within that group said. I see it all the time. Day ending in Y.

And some trans women (intersex) have uteruses. And ovaries. And those conditions usually leave the testes sterile or very low fertility (only producing testosterone but otherwise not functional).

"Trans intersex women do not exist. Trans lesbian women do not exits. Trans non-binary women do not exist. All of those categories are AFAB only" is usually the presumptions that these types of people operate under
