Exactly! My husband has always owned a car but I rode the bus daily for years because we are two fully separate and self sufficient people who have shit to do. I didn't want to rely on him or make him wait on me.

And some people just don't want the hassles of driving to work and would rather take public transportation if they can. So? Her protest was planned, but not staged. There's a difference.
