Ah. Gladys’s character design was my favorite part of the movie, but it was so specific I knew it had to have come from somewhere.

She wears red lipstick, a pearl necklace, and a patterned shirt with a lapel that is wide by current standards but pretty subtle by 1976 standards. Amy Madigan in Weapons. She has a kicky red bob with incredibly short bangs and large glasses. She wears smeared red lipstick, a chunky necklace, and a lavender turtleneck underneath a colorblocked jacket with a lapel that is wide by both current and 1976 standards.
