Oh please do, plenty of room on the fainting couch, I’ll move up. Also, I’m ever so happy you feel that way. Part of the joy for me in collecting them is sharing them with other people before I frame them & hang them on the wall where they truly delight me daily

I'm so glad to see them Rose, huge thanks for sharing! Clearly there were myriad factors powering the wild, expressive joy on display in so much illustration from the '50s to '70s that may never converge in the same way again, but that era should be celebrated as loudly as possible.

I don't know if loving this stuff will prove to be a wholly generational thing, in the meantime it really lifts my spirits. I've recently started buying some of the less-regarded or sought-after old Puffin paperbacks again, before anyone else cottons on.
