Did this ever happen for you? My parents bought me books, and kept most of them in a closet until I should be "old enough" for them - instantly making them "forbidden fruits". The closet had a light, though ... 1/2

2/2 ... I soon learned to close the door and use that light to examine the secured books. I poured over my favorite sections so much, that, without any intention of doing so, I one day began to spontaneously "hear" the texts, and reading happened on it's own, un-encouraged, without introduction
