a brisk, almost lyrical gestural drawing, in lines spare but lively, of five women in long dresses dancing in a kind of circle - their garments are suggested by the lines of the hems, bare feet engage the air, their arms and hands intertwine and end in little spirals like the spiraling ends of their tresses, all suggesting the shared magic of a moment of dance, graphite on paper (c) 2008 by Edward Huse - I made this for the cover of the program for a production of
