6/6 The Stakes Alaska is not just a location. It’s the stage for a test of will, and of loyalty. Ukraine’s fight isn’t just Ukraine’s fight. If Trump folds to Putin here, it tells every dictator exactly how to play him. This isn’t a peace summit. It’s a warning shot to the free world.
Meeting in Alaska is an ‘appropriate’ location for Putin as he can smugly look around with an air of ‘one day soon, all this will be mine again’. The thought that RUSA coalition can carve up a third country with no input from that country is frigging outrageous.
Not sure this is true. Enough Europeans have met with Trump face to face to know that he is an unpredictable Putin apologist. He was always going to put himself centre stage for no reason other than self agrandissement.
