The refinery, a frequent target of previous drone strikes, has now been attacked for the second night in a row. On Tuesday night, residents in Volgogradās southern districts also reported air defense activity in the industrial zone, home to both the refinery and a major oil depot.
Overnight, Ukrainian drones struck the LUKOIL-Volgogradneftepererabotka oil refinery. Local authorities insist āall drones were shot down,ā but falling debris sparked a fire at the site.
