I froze mine. The first couple times I needed to unfreeze it worked fine. Then one of the agencies changed the rules. I haven't been able to unfreeze it. Then I moved out of the USA and don't care anymore 😂

As I recall they tried to turn unfreezing into a profit center, diverting my efforts to a pay-to-see-your-own credit score scam. I asked the vendor to use another credit agency and they did.
