I’m sorry. But that’s not a hat for a 70+ year old. Geriatrics need hats with big text on the front that can be read from 50 yards. And really bright color hat.

He's 80+, as long as he's not hurting anyone, let him wear what he wants; it could be a comfort thing, like he's worn that hat enough it's naturally reshaped from use to his head shape.
