You might be surprised. My neighbours had 20 blooms this year, but missed seeing them flower 🤨. I had seen many bats flitting nearby, presumably enticed by the plants somehow. Bats are often quick and flitty, so you may mistake them for a blink or not notice them at all.

Yeah, unfortunately nobody else in my neighborhood has cereus plants blooming at the same time. Guessing they need cross-pollination, as there’s never been any seed formation. We have a tons of insect eating bats in my neighborhood, not sure about flower lappers.
