I’ll add, even in your initial response you seem to indicate they maybe don’t have a problem with it. If they did, they wouldn’t need to be convinced that the idea is wrong period….?

It's not that they don't have a problem with fascism. They do. They're just bad at recognizing it, as are most people, including experts who should know better. Dems, above all, believe in democracy. They keep dreaming of bipartisanship without understanding that you can't do that with Nazis.

No. They don’t have a problem with fascism. They have a problem with the word, but not the actual ideologies of it. I’d suggest that this has always been true- that much of Europe and the US likely didn’t fight against fascism, but against someone else having control of the fascism.

When people show you who they are, believe them. If they take money from Nazis, dine with Nazis, etc…. Go ahead and tell me they aren’t.
