No. They don’t have a problem with fascism. They have a problem with the word, but not the actual ideologies of it. I’d suggest that this has always been true- that much of Europe and the US likely didn’t fight against fascism, but against someone else having control of the fascism.

Sadly I know a few very well read Trump supporters. I wish it were true that they’re all uneducated- as then we could fix the issue with education. Certainly many aren’t, and we shouldn’t mistake formal education for educated- but I’m afraid the issues are more complex than just a poor education.
