Made the kids watch Sneakers with me for Fathers' Day last night and man does it hold up. Criminally slept-on film.
Made the kids watch Sneakers with me for Fathers' Day last night and man does it hold up. Criminally slept-on film.
I went and read some contemporarenous reviews and they were middling. The movie had a decent box office, but mostly met with both commerical and critical "meh". But I think it's genuinely outstanding.
What an all-star ensemble. After what seems like 2 decades of non-stop zombie and superhero movies, maybe a real nut'n'bolts spy thriller is a tonic.
I think us movie lovers yearn for the time when movies were actually original, intelligent and focused on the acting and writing. It's a really good movie.
I think maybe because Sneakers is a weird name for a movie but I can’t really elaborate
The filmmakers had to add swear words to the movie, out of fear that it’d get a G or PG rating — which, combined with the title “Sneakers,” would have suggested it was a kids movie.
To be fair, you are a nerd and it is a nerd movie.
MSNBC-tec Astronomy
I love the part where they figure out the location from the sound of the bridge spacers.
One of my favorites!
Personally think it’s the age of the reviewers at the time, many of whom were still using typewriters
“One of the best uses of River Phoenix” is barely a top 5 good thing about it.
It's a dang shame. One of my ALL TIME favorite movies and as someone in IT they did a REALLY good job on how social engineering can be used to skirt even the most hardened systems. And it all still, absolutely holds up.
I feel the same about Detective School Dropouts.
You are correct.
Wild, if only because literally two weeks ago I also recalled Sneakers and also looked up old reviews and also was surprised by the critical reaction given my fond recollection. Will rewatch!
Everyone I go over a bridge or attend a cocktail party, I think of David Straithairn.
"What did it sound like, Bish?"
Yup. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
lol same
Same.
The cast is pretty amazing for such an under the radar film.
I feel like the reviews were "meh" because social engineering isn't the "sexy" (and utterly unrealistic) kind of hacking that is typically depicted in TV and film.
It moved smoothly, loved the door opening scene lol
It's a favorite of mine too! The story and characters are just fantastic.
“I want a Winnebago.”
Too many secrets. That was the problem with it.
Have loved this movie for a long time— watch it 2-3 times a year! You have good taste!
It’s so good.
My favorite part of Father's Day is I get to pick what we watch on tv!
I was a clerk at a ma-and-pa video store when it got its VHS release; it found its dedicated audience in the movie rental market.
I rented it from the video store I worked at knowing nothing about it back in the 90s, watched it, REWOUND THE TAPE and watched it again. It’s in my top ten favorites for sure. I loved the opening credit design, I loved the acting, I loved the cocktail party geese, the sexiness of the word passport.
100% agree. The film score alone carries it. 🎼
I saw it in the theater back in the day and it remains one of my favorites. TOO MANY SECRETS.
I think letterboxd really is the best metric these days. Sneakers has a 3.5 on there, which is very solid
Completely silly and contrived, and one of my favorite movies. "Fine. A Winnebago" in Darth Vader's voice was a highlight.
James Earl Jones and Sidney Poitier each saying “Tahiti” is beautiful.
"Tahiti is not in Europe!"
That negotiation scene might be my favorite of the film. The whole movie’s vibe is “trust no one” but they need *someone* to come in at the end & convey an honest guy in authority — someone w/ more gravitas than Redford & Poitier. That could *only* be James Earl Jones (as ersatz Admiral Greer).
My usual example of authority casting is: Kevin Costner’s Robin Hood was not good, but they nailed the ending when King Richard the Lionheart shows up and it’s Sean Connery.
Perfect example. Like a closer in baseball - someone you count on to come in at the end to throw heat. It’s often a bit of stunt casting, b/c you need a movie star to carry the weight. Ed Harris in Snowpiercer, Sigourney Weaver in Cabin in the Woods, etc.
Personally will always love Ben Kingsley's delivery on, "You will give me the box, right now. Or I will kill you...right now."
Ben Kingsley is universally considered amazing, yet is somehow still underrated.
It's a great movie, especially for anyone in tech.
I remember Roger Ebert gave it 4 stars, because he was rarely wrong!
It’s a great film and I miss that genre of drama that is suspenseful and well written but not filled with 100 action scenes. You might like ‘The Game’ too with Michael Douglas. Another smartly crafted plot.
The Game, Double Jeopardy, heck all those 80’s/90’s films were scripted well.
Whenever anyone talks about quantum computers I think about Seatech Astronomy... ugh
The denouement scene is a bit extra, and the comic relief bit at the very end...idk. But generally, yes, an excellent family film.
This movie made me obsessed with Bay Area bridges.
Watched it when it came out, watched it since. Good movie.
such a treat having James Earl Jones show up, great scene.
100% agree on Sneakers. Just made my kids watch War Games, which also fits in that category for me. Holds up!
Easily in the top ten of that decade. I evangelize about it constantly
You are correct, Sir!
I 100% agree. A definite fav.
I made my grandchildren watch it with me. Our first copy was on VHS. TALK ABOUT PERFECT CASTING!!!! “Practice, practice, practice!” “I just love the word passport.”
It's probably better than any mission impossible movie. I was recently reminded how extremely silly those movies are. Not that Sneakers isn't at all silly, but the premise is not nearly as convoluted and ridiculous. The basic premise is now very much a possibility with quantum computing and AI.
Plus great actors and some really funny moments, good movie 👍
I enjoyed it when it came out but even then recognized it had "3rd Act problems". The first 2 Acts keep upping the ante, setting up a tension the 3rd Act has no hope of paying off. Great cast and a solid premise, but unfortunately it never gets where it's trying to go.
I saw it in a theater back in the day, and our audience (no lie) clapped and cheered at the end. "We're the United States government, we don't DO that sort of thing." 😁
It is genuinely one of my favorite movies of all time.
It’s super fun…and what a cast!
Slate magazine did a whole series on it I think a while ago.
Saw it first run theaters! Only complaint was that Ben Kingsley was a bit too cliche as a villain.
It is. Sydney Poitier is epic !
This is your best take
Also Horner’s soprano sax-driven score is understatedly phenomenal
I agree! I mixed the soundtrack.
I mean, it's James Horner!
Oh man! That's a classic! I love that film
So good
Um, but he sat on Cray supercomputer like it was a freakin’ park bench! I gasped out loud in the theatre. The disrespect.
In the box office ‘Sneakers’ was up against ‘Unforgiven’, ‘Husbands and Wives’ and ‘Single White Female’. With that said, it was fun, but maybe too light for a story about surveillance, blackmail, and global power, with some serious logic gaps. It’s definitely aged into ‘cult’ status.
Same
Have always loved this film. Music is outstanding too.
One of my favorite “fun movie that doesn’t insult your intelligence” movies. A genre I created. I watch it once a year or so. Always a pleasure.
80% of critics' reviews were positive: www.rottentomatoes.com/m/sneakers
Love Sneakers. My kind and patient daughter would indulge me and watch one of the LOTR extended version movies for my Mother’s Day gift. Your choice is much shorter.
When trying new keyboards I always consider whether someone can determine my password by the clicking sounds.
A rock-solid indication of a great movie is when one of these pops up. Settle in, you will not regret it.
Sneakers and Spy Game are two of Redford’s best films and he has a pretty tremendous catalog.
Have you seen the press kit? It's *amazing*. Archive.org has an emulated version of it: archive.org/details/Snea... That movie is incredible top to bottom, and I have used Whistler's audio-to-map journey in classes as a demonstration of storytelling and (even) manifold remapping of variables.
One of my all-time favorites and I'm not a person who usually enjoys suspense.
As someone who had middling thoughts on it when it came out, part of the reaction was that the actors were just the wrong ages and vibe for who they (especially the younger versions) would have been. It made the whole thing seem off. Young Redford as a phreak is just laughable.
Some of strangeness has been lost as time passes and the story and characters are accepted on their own terms. I get why people like it, but the backstory just feels off. I know they did it to justify having Redford as the lead, but in 1992 we remembered the 1969 Redford.
It’s the same problem any John Wick prequel would have. We know what young Keanu Reeves looked like and his vibe and it was absolutely not cold assassin killing machine. Part of the appeal of the Wick films is his reinvention. Young Wick is not young Keanu.
Looking at the top 20 movies that came out that year I can see why reviewers said "meh". There were a lot of bangers that year.
This list is incredible! #RETVRN
I remember being aware of/seeing almost every single movie on this list, all but 2, but I’ve never heard of Sneakers until Chris’ post. I think I’ll watch it tonight.
It's a smart caper movie . Come on, Sydney Poitier, Robert Redford, and weirdly enough, Ben Kingsley and Dan Ackroyd. Also the sorely missed River Phoenix.
Wow. I’m kind of stumped about how I might have missed seeing ads or promotional tours. I watched so much late show, etc at that time… Well I will correct this wrong soon.
Also, If you haven't watched it yet, I strongly recommend "Real Genius".
10000000%
All time great cast And the idea of a radical 60s boomer becoming a rich tech criminal was ahead of its time
As a computer geek, my friends and I loved the accuracy when it came out. Great movie b
So good. TOO MANY SECRETS
World Peace!!!!
We’re the United States government, we don’t do that sort of thing.
Agreed. Another film like that is Inside Man with Denzel Washington. Not a big box office but such a great cast and rock-solid movie.
Sneakers and Inside Man? Instant follow…
Lol
"Don’t tell me you can’t do it because I know you can. And don’t tell me you won’t do it because I’ve got to have it. I need to know and I need to know now!”
The New York Times review got the main character’s name wrong!
Probably because it ends with the bankrupting of the RNC?
Omg, one of my favorites.
"They'll give us 20 years in the electric chair!" One of the best heist movies ever, imo.
Setec Astronomy
Stephen Tobolowsky shines bright.
He never fails to elevate whatever he is in.
I saw it in the theater with my parents, and, randomly, then-Massachusetts governor Bill Weld. It immediately became a family favorite for us, dunno about Bill.
Ben Kingsley is acting out of his shoes in that joint
Off to see who's streaming it! Tonight's entertainment. 😊
Good heist films are rare. This is one of them.
100%. That cast is amazing!!!
We covered it earlier this year. It’s still incredible all these years later. share.fireside.fm/episode/gEYr...
One of my favorites
Despite the acclaim for Field of Dreams, Phil Alden Robinson is terribly underrated. I just re-watched In The Mood a couple weeks back, which I highly recommend. (It's on Kanopy, if your local liberry offers that.) Sneakers is next on my list
I’ve been known to say “That’s jot easy what I just did” which comes from this movie…
One of my Redford movie
I remember that being advertised when I lived in Madrid in the 80s I think, but never watched it. Might give it a go.
One of our favorites. The tech is ancient but the themes still resound.
its still great shit
Love Sneakers! Great film 😁
YES. Still one of my faves.
Love when River Phoenix asks for the agents number the end.
I love that movie. Amazing cast, great script.
Including our elections btw
It’s a living. Not a very good one.
Robert Redford kicking in the keypad lock explains about half of computer security
For the other half I'd need a good metaphor for buffer overflows
That is a good one.
Love that movie.
River💙😢
I’d like the phone number of the agent with the Uzi.
🥰
Too many secrets.
It’s so so so good
Amen
Peak GenX film! On so many levels
I was just rewatching Sneakers a few nights ago. Incredible film.
Insane that a fun little film like Sneakers had Sidney Poitier, Robert Redford, AND Ben Kingsley.
Terrific score by the late, great James Horner as well. Really sells the casual smarts of it all very well.
It was one of the best movies ever.
So many great actors in that film doing great work. Maybe the best heist film ever.
SETEC Astronomy is an in-joke I put in little places in my writing. No one has ever mentioned the reference, but it always makes me happy.
@priscillapage.bsky.social has some good things to say.
One of those great wee films that shows you can have a great movie without bad language and gratuitous violence.
Giving Poitier the single PG-13 F-bomb was comedic genius.
Beautiful movie. One of my favs.
Haha I just returned it to the library! I thought same thing.
I've shockingly never heard of it, especially given this cast: Robert Redford Dan Aykroyd Ben Kingsley Mary McDonnell River Phoenix Sidney Poitier David Strathairn
Lol!
Our Father's Day film was "Dumb and Dumber," as worthy a classic as "Sneakers"!
My voice is my passport
Even back then Sandhill Rd was evil.
Love that film
Echoing the great movie sentiment. Other notionally similar underrated 90s movies: Guarding Tess, The Long Kiss Goodnight, Grosse Point Blank.
Afterhours - the vehicle Griffin Dunne deserved, Scorsese directing, superb support, even Cheech & Chong cameo, Best Director at Cannes. Nobody cared.
Loved Cage & McClaine in “Guarding Tess”-need to watch it again!!
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched The Long Kiss Goodnight 😁 I watch it when I’m feeling down or depressed about the world. 🤷🏻♀️ Geena is perfection. Sam too. 👏🏼👏🏼
This is one of my family’s Christmas movies.
Yes! 😁 I watch Die Hard too 😉😎🎄
Us too! Add Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang to your list.
Anything with Val 💔😭
Sneakers and Long kiss Goodnight would make a great double feature.
I loved it but with THAT cast-just super amazing
“I didn’t know you could do that in Mexico City.”
What did the kids think?
I love “Sneakers,” I also recommended that movie to my drafter.
Best, most realistic *mathematical* premise of any movie ever. Great acting (impressive cast!) and a compelling plot line.
Be a beacon 😏
my kids' favorite line!
Did the kids like it?
I feel like @benloory.bsky.social needs to be alerted to the existence of this discussion
Too many secrets!
It’s the best hacker movie. Better than Hackers.
Required viewing when I started studying cyber security in 2002!
"Too many secrets..." Sneakers was seriously underrated, the cast was outstanding & the screenplay was delightful! youtu.be/G_XRqJV2zdk?...
Love that movie!!
I showed it to my 25-yr-old niece and she LOVED it. Truly a classic.
A big reason it holds up is the way they talk about and use tech, but don't put a lot of it on screen.
"I want peace on Earth and goodwill toward men." "We're the United States government. We don't do that sort of thing."
One of my favs
Redford's films were consistently ahead of their times
It's always been one of my favorites. I, too, want peace on earth and goodwill towards men. Actually everybody.
By our friend Phil Robinson. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/m...
I watch every couple of years. Now do... Being There
Haven't seen that since I went to the theater. Loved it, guess it's time for a rewatch!
It is an absolute gem. Was at the time, still is. Casting director should get an all-time gold star. Just a ridiculous collection of excellent acting talent.
An all time classic!
Love that movie
Ha! We watched WAR GAMES, after going to a retro-arcade.
Sneakers is less bleak.
Oh, for sure-- I was more saying I'm, like, 6 years older than Chris; we both made our kids watch "movies we were into when we were 10-13."
Ah. I think Sneakers is easier on the kids. The “humanity had its time” bit from Wargames never left me.
HE RECONSIDERED AND PICKED THEM UP ON HIS ACTION HELICOPTER!!
I never entirely bought Falken’s sudden change of heart! Still it is a great movie.
Ally Sheedy is so good in it; better than I remember.
Arguably the best hangout movie of all time. Such clearly drawn characters, and any assemblage of them is dynamic and fun.
The opening with Al Kooper and Mike Bloomfield from Super Session is amazing.
The best!
Great MOVIE!
LOVE that movie!!!
One of my wife’s absolute favorites! Pretty fond of it myself. I reflect on stuff from all the time, like when Kingsley calls BS on a computer matching the two on a date. So much good stuff in there, & an endless list of great performances.
I still have that James Horner score stuck in my head
Branford Marsalis soprano saxophone hacker music
Yes!
it's SO GOOD
I loved it when Slate ran a full 20th-anniversary package because so many editors were fans
That was such a good package! Was scrolling through to see if someone had already mentioned it.
I know someone who mentioned that, when they were getting training for their security clearance related to information handling, the instructor used Cosmo's monologue about "it's all about the information, Mahty"
Cosmo's accent is truly bizarre. I sometimes wonder if it was a subtle choice by Kingsley, to give him a constantly mutating accent that couldn't be placed, making him harder to identify.
I loved this film when I saw it in the theater. I couldn't tell you why, however.
such a good cast.
Who sleeps on THAT cast?
Great actors in that movie. Fun to watch.
its the OG Hacker , social engineering flick -- Iconic
Chris, It's your MOTHER!
💯
My Fav clip🔽 youtu.be/Xk0Mzci2Sks?...
Prophetic.
I love that you use Father’s Day to make the kids do things you like & yet they learn from. I always used Mothers Day to visit museums. Works like a charm.
The depth of cast, the score, everything about it is absolutely amazing. One of my favorite movies.
Best hacker film in existence.
I still remember my young jaw being on the floor when they hit us with "The only thing it would really be good for is spying on Americans."
It was a big favorite at RPI, not least because the news anchor cameo was played by Ernie Teatreault, a long- time anchor at local station WRGB in Schenectady. Director Phil Robinson had an internship there and remembered Ernie when he needed someone to play the part.
Great film!
TOO MANY SECRETS
COOTYS RAT SEMEN
lol i was sitting here trying to craft a comment about this scene and saw yours and busted out laughing perfect
Sneakers was legendary in my family because it was one of very few films that my mother didn’t fall asleep while watching!
That was a family favorite growing up in my household. What an ensemble!
It's stuff like this that gives people a reason to not succeed. Dishonesty and cruelty can really screw up a person's life all for the success of some asshat who wants all the power and money they can possibly scarf up
No secrets
River Phoenix. Sigh. 🥹 Also: cough, cough, teenage 🌈awakening😱.
Robert Redford and Sidney Poitier had impeccable comedic timing. Aykroyd was finally allowed to play a crank somewhat close to himself.
Mary McDonnell is also delightful. "You don't have a business. You have a club. It's a club for boys."
She ties it all together pretty well as the only other person than Cosmo who knows his past.
Fantastic movie. And what a cast. I count 4 Academy Award winners. (Did I miss anyone)
A fun Easter egg in The Sum Of All Fears (2002), when Jack Ryan's analyst colleagues are arguing about who was banging Elena Ryzhkov at the Mexico conference. His boss tells them to figure it out. "That's good stuff." His boss? Lee Garlington, who played Elena in Sneakers.
i've always loved this movie...
We were discussing a modern day cast and who would play whom just the other day. I like Ryan Reynolds for Robert Redford’s character. Jonah Hill for Dan Akroyd’s, Idris Elba for Potier’s character. Timotheé Chalamet for River Phoenix’s role…far as we got.
These are solid. Samuel L. Jackson for James Earl Jones. Maybe Ebon Moss-Bachrach for Whistler?
I like Fishburne for Poitier.
Oooh, that is really good too.
Jeffry Wright for Whistler. Maybe Ben Stiller
Thank you for sharing this Chris- it’s such an under appreciated movie and some fun and great performances- “no more secrets” lol
Sneakers is a great show to watch for some fun social engineering. They even took some small inspiration from a real phone phreak: Whistler, the blind guy, was very vaguely based on Joybubbles:
I still think about it every time I flatten and squeeze the absolute last out of a tube of toothpaste.
We are in the early stages of a Sneakerssance and I am so ready.
Top ten heist film.
One of the best capers to do it. Not underrated at all, but rather, has found its worthy audience
The soundtrack is also top notch.
Agreed. Great script, stellar cast, not entirely embarrassing for a 90s hacker movie.
One of my favorites with an incredible cast.
Definitely a favorite.
Funny story - Sneakers was my first date ever movie. Truly some remarkable selection on behalf of my teenage self.
I absolutely love that film. Great soundtrack & score, too.
It is one of my favorites!!!!
I watched it about 2 months ago for the first time since the 90s. You're 💯 right it holds up. Everyone is great in it. It did make me lament the loss of river phoenix, I think he would have grown into such an accomplished screen presence.
Love that flick
"...passport."
“Cattle mutilations are up.”
Beat me to it.
"You're saying the CIA killed Kennedy?" "No, they shot him, but they didn't kill him. He's still alive!"
Don't start...
I still mull that moment over in my mind. Couldn’t she have gotten to say “pass” and “port” in separate sentences? Man I love that movie!
"Sport" seems like the easy way, but I'm not sure how you get someone to just say it, although he does seem like the kind who would say "I don't like sports" with minimal prompting.
My gut feeling is she was looking for the fastest way out of that restaurant possible.
Agreed. I love the movie, but even as a kid, I was like "why didn't she just pose a non-insane question to get that on tape? As in, 'I'm due for a vacation. What do you need to get into Spain, a passport or a visa?'"
“Pasadena” and “sports” would probably have worked too
Sidney Poitier, Robert Redford, River Phoenix, and Mary McConnell. How can it not be a banger?
David Strathairn too.
Dan Aykroyd as well
James Earl Jones!
At our house we watched The Sting and it was fantastic.
My voice is my passport, verify me.
Had to use that phrase when working and had to use voice verification. Obviously, the person who set up the system was a "Sneakers" fan!
"Did I ever tell you why I had to leave the CIA?" "My TEMPER" Also: "I cannot kill my friend. " "*to henchmen* Kill my friend"
"Organised crime?" "Oh, hush. It's not that organised."
It really, REALLY does. I mean, with only minimal changes ("What's an Answering Machine?!") it could be made today.
A big favorite
I still say the "None of them ever wanna pay taxes again" bit in Armageddon was an homage to Sneakers.
One of the best hacker movies ever. Right up there with WarGames.
Completely agree.
Such a great movie!
One of my favorite movies!
Great movie. Live Mother
Saw it in theaters as a kid and it’s been a favorite since.
It was fun! Great actors, too!
"And give him he-... help. Whenever he needs it."
Love that one
IT’S ALL ABOUT THE INFORMATION, MARTY.
Made my kid watch The Big Lebowski with me for Father's Day. Certainly not slept-on, but I hadn't seen it in decades, and it too holds up better than well.
Brilliant film with some top quotes. "A computer matched her to him?" Marty!"
Quote. Whistler: I want peace on earth and good will toward man. Abbot: Oh, this is ridiculous. Bishop: He's serious. Whistler: I want peace on earth and goodwill toward men. Abbot: We are the United States Government! We don't do that sort of thing. Abbot: All right, I'll see what I can do.
One of the best hacker movies ever made.
Even though they had no idea what one was, the 'black box' is basically a quantum computer.
Yes!! Great movie.
Saw that flick like 5 times in the theater. Kept grabbing friends and family who hadn't seen it to drag with me. Still one of my favorites.
What did the kids think?
I’m still really wierd about how I share aspirin
Love that film!
i LOVE Sneakers so much. it definitely still holds up, and now i need to watch it again 👍👍👍
Very fun movie, and also a charming artifact of a time when the classification barriers surrounding the NSA were still intact enough that people basically could not understand what kind of agency it was
Ooh love that movie.
Truth. And imagine a world where anyone could have the power of the 'box' using Quantum computing in the cloud. If we don't move to replace current cryptographic methods with Quantum-resistant algorithms, 'Sneakers' could loosely become a reality . techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/microso...
Happy Father's Day!
OMG - one of my all-time favorite movies! The best movie no one heard of! Great job Dad!
Yes it does. Fun film.
one of my all time favourites and a commonly quoted one around our house… “be a beacon”… “my voice is my passport, verify me”… “what did it *sound* like”… “it’s all about the information”… or simply just saying “marty!”
Thanks for reminding me about the "be a beacon" line. So funny!
fantastic cast on this one
never heard of it
Great cast, great film.
Yes... great flick! 👍
'Cattle mutilations are up!'
Always loved that movie.
"Too many secrets, Marty."
More and more relevant by the day, too. Lots of parallels between Cosmo and Muskrat.
Of course, the anarchist is the bad guy.
Never heard of it
Too many secrets 😎
Whistler: "I want peace on Earth and goodwill towards men."
One of my favorite movies... Cocktail party 🦩🦩🦩🤭
Do I look like I'm negotiating!?
Crowder: This would have to be a longer conversation, and it would have to take place somewhere else. Clayton: Where? My car?
Definitely in my top five spy themed movies. No particular order here. Michael Clayton Sneakers War Games All the President’s Men Three Days of the Condor Yes it is Redford Heavy. He is good at tension Honorable Mention Spy Games Munich The Devil’s own Clear and Present Danger
Good list!
Thanks.
Spy Games is in my top 10.
My actual favorite movie
Great movie! When Whistler drives the van…hilarious! Now get them to watch Galaxy Quest.
"Then there's a gentle slope..."
"We are the United States government; we don't do that sort of thing!"
“My voice is my password.”
Passport. Stephen Tobolowsky would have traveled more if he'd known the word passport would have gotten him Mary McDonnell.
Yep, I ALWAYS get it wrong when I quote it!
Great watch. Solid choice.
“You won’t know who to trust” in a thick Russian accent is still salient
you are such an authoritarian! 😂
Great movie! One of my all time favourites!
I will watch again. Thanks.
Love that film.
Love that flick!
“Too many secrets”
Brilliant film Love it
The sequence where they figure out which bridge it was remains 💯
“It sounded like a….like a cocktail party…”
The lines I most often quote— Redford: It’s a living. Bank Teller (glancing at check he’s depositing): Not a very good one.
Fun film.
