I was driving the work vehicle recently and heard what I thought was a bird stuck in the car, frantically pulled over only to find out that my boss had bought one of those cat toy mice which beeps when it moves and it was going off over bumps.

I had one in my driver's side rear view putting new webs around the mirror each time I drove and the wind took them off. Winter got it, though, and I haven't seen another tenant in its place.

Rest assured, a spider has a survivable terminal speed, and can live to tell about it without even getting injured, if it falls off, and lands on the ground.
