Got a late start on opening the pool this year, but @jess-on-ice.com & I finally got around to discovering what lurked beneath the cover after nine months. As usual, it wasn't pretty, but there was water, at least (which hasn't always been the case). Next step: Getting it swimmable.
Your water looks miraculously clear, but what was lurking under the cover???
Update: Spent 3hrs trying to get the pool pump running, only to discover water leaking from inside it (popped seal?). Just bought the pump last summer. Time to throw in the literal & figurative towels, retreat to a cool basement & play a game (currently, Yakuza 4) until I can renew the struggle.
