They did in some shots yes. But in others especially Hagrid walking it was a double wearing a fat suit, stack heels and a robotic mask.

Ah, maybe that's it. Some of those photos were of Frost sans mask and then there was this one from the same shoot, but I guess that's right it could be a double in which case a mask makes more sense.
