Yes, we should all blame Merrick Garland and not the people responsible for actually ordering and doing this.

I know what the point was. But blaming Garland when we have a compromised judge (Cannon) and a SCOTUS that would likely have reversed everything he was charged with, seems at best indirect. How about we blame Trump and his enablers? The GOP Senate in Jan. 2021 especially.
