2/ Based on 2007 SCOTUS case MA v. EPA, in which the court ruled that the danger emissions posed to humans made them subject to laws that restrict air pollution.This was previously considered so untouchable that 45 tried to work within the parameters of the rule rather than eliminate it outright

3/ Revoking the endangerment finding would undo all federal GHG rules on automobiles, factories, and power plants, fundamentally ending any national policy designed to curb emissions. The proposal will hopefully face political and public challenges.
