If you go into the detailed report within the article, the researchers at three different universities, followed the children’s health while the coal plant was operating and then have followed the community health since it shuttered. So the data is strong that coal causes resp problems-of course!

This dynamic will not solve climate change. In order for the world to #decarbonize, investment in clean energy needs to be high enough for it to displace — and drive down — fossil-fuel use.
Renewables are growing at a record-breaking pace, faster than many thought possible, and yet emissions are still rising as countries simply use more electricity, burning more #fossilfuels as a result.
More than $2.2 trillion will go into #cleanenergy and #electrification this year, double that of fossil fuels — but it’s still not enough…

Well, as a child, I lived in a Third World country and felt very superior on my military base that Americans didn’t live in a country where you had to worry whether the water was clean or your food was safe or there were no doctors – but surprise! Thanks to SCOTUS I do now!
