A lot of people in the west can't because we are all used to sitting I'm chairs and don't squat like that. I've been working on it, but my knees aren't what the used to be.

I work with toddlers. After about a decade of squatting like that to get on their level, my knees had had enough. I just flop on the floor like CM Punk delivering a pipe bomb.

Also the exercises necessary to get that flexible tend to considered feminine and aren't given the respect they deserve.
