Let me personally go up to the machine with blood on the gears and tell them they can't. It's not surrendering to point out that the systems with power to stop this are actively choosing not to. Pointing that out is just as important. There's a full chain of power that bears responsibility.

No. You are surrendering by shrugging your oh-so-cynical-and-hip shoulders and assuming they can't be stopped. That just greases the skids. Allow yourself to be wrong and to be shocked. THAT'S how you draw more people in who don't already agree.
