I don't remember, but I find it meaningful that he hasn't spoken in camera - remember how hard they worked to get him on video when he had COVID in 2020?

Well. I mean, I don't keep up on these things, but my assumption is that were he treated as other POTUSes were (Hi, Mr. Tapper!), a week long absence in front of a camera would be a topic of journalism. rollcall.com/factbase/tru...

OTOH, election year. The other three years of term one it doesn't seem like he worked too hard on Labor Day (a couple of calls to world leaders in the first year).
