I remember seeing a video (same guy, I think) that says the next cosmic big bad is Ultima. With this idea, maybe the key is meant to keep something locked away like Ultima.

Oh! - forgot to mention- Iām wondering if the final villain will be akin to Ultimecia (we never got her in the Eden raids and she has power over time) - or Bhunivelze (a literal god of creation - can make new worlds)
Ultimecia might be more likely if only because of that connection to the Eden raids that the MSQ can reference.
