Every time removing guns from our society is proposed as a way to lower homicides by guns, the response is always "We can't deny gun rights to lawful citizens" . Why won't Americans relinquish their guns to save Americans?? Give up your gun and save a child. Too much for Americans to do.

You allow them to remove common sense based on their right to safety. You allow the NRA and others to bribe your politicians No guns, less death from guns, by probably 30,000+ a year. Global stats prove it. Sense before safety Children before donation

EU 2023

EU Annual Total — Approx. 6,700 Firearm Deaths According to a fact sheet from the Flemish Peace Institute, roughly 6,700 people die each year in the EU from gunshot wounds. That breaks down to: 5,000 suicides by firearm (about 75% of the total) 1,000 homicides by firearm (approx. 15%)

Considering Europe has a pop of approx 744 mil, or if you go with the EU 450 mil, compared to the USSA 340 mil. It makes the comparison even worse. 🤷‍♂️

I think in the UK we feel blessed that we don't have much gun crime. we feel desperate for America every time the news breaks. Its awful. UK In the year ending March 2024 includes most 2023 there were 24 individuals killed by firearms, down slightly from 27 in the previous year. 1-2 avg p.m

From the outside even when we try to think of what justification the US can have for its positions on guns, we can't, we try to recognise the idea of the right to bear arms, but as proven you don't so what possible justification is left. You lose a lot of children by not removing them.

We could do with that "well regulated militia" now. No where to be found. Most Americans have guns to use on minorities only, when they accidentally go to the wrong house or turn into the wrong driveway. Few will admit it.

No need to feel desperate for America. If Americans really wanted change, we'd force it. We get outraged each time then go right back to normal two days later. The outpouring of emotion here is a sick game at this point. Save the empty emotion, get fking angry and force change. Take care. Thanks.

But this is how little girls in the UK need to defend themselves. Tell me the UK is better.

Gun culture in the US is bizarre, a learned and perpetuated mental illness. I have US relatives who go to firing ranges for entertainment, or shoot cans for target practice at 14 yrs old and younger. Living in Canada, I am not aware anyone who owns a hand gun. Some may have hunting rifles locked up.
