Absolutely worth it. that detail makes it look so much more detailed and less like a plastic toy like the pics on GW's webstore for it

Man the eavy metal team is obviously insanely more talented than me but I’ll never understand why they paint current guard armor the way they do, it’s ridiculous looking

to be fair the paint job for the leman russ and the photos for it are...so old. soooooo old. so theres that lol. a lot of the older stuff looks so doofy in comparison to more recent products

True, but then look at the Dorn. Every moderately competent paint job of it I’ve seen online looks better than the studio’s work because they insist on painting it like a cartoon. I’m convinced half the reason people hate that model is the studio paint job
