My weekend project while the wife was out of town was to finish the artillery team from my Krieg army box, which had been sitting in my queue since January. A couple days’ work and it’s finally done. One of my favorites I’ve done so far. #paintingwarhammer #deathkorpsofkrieg #imperialguard

Assuming you printed with resin (which is what I use), any acrylic paint should be fine after primer. I’d imagine the same for filament prints, but I have no direct experience painting those. I use citadel paints because they’re what I’m used to but they’re fairly pricey. Army painter is good

Don’t get me wrong I really enjoy painting infantry but it’s just so much more work!
I own an airbrush but have never been able to make it work the way I want, which is too bad because that would cut down my paint time even more. But what I love about vehicles is just being able to spray, wash, drybrush and be done. It’s harder to distill infantry down to those basic steps.
The Armageddon Sentinel is done! Vehicles are such a joy to paint, this only took a couple hours of work overall (not counting the time it took washes and mud to dry) and I’m very happy with how it came out. #imperialguard #paintingwarhammer

Thanks! Those are technically Krieg tanks, but I do think the aesthetics flow very nicely together, which is a big part of why I did the steel legion to complement them
Not like a one stop shop, but my go to is always YouTube. If I want a specific scheme or unit I can usually find a good tutorial. Duncan Rhodes is kind of my favorite right now. It’s just incredibly helpful to see someone do it and explain what they’re doing and why

True, but then look at the Dorn. Every moderately competent paint job of it I’ve seen online looks better than the studio’s work because they insist on painting it like a cartoon. I’m convinced half the reason people hate that model is the studio paint job

The more I learn about Warhammer, the more I think it's probably the best possible future of humanity. Like, yes, it is grim and dark, but so is our current reality. At least their gods exist. They have space travel and psychics, too.
