When I was a teen one of my favorites was Mario Puzo. I got an inter library loan to read Omerta right when it was first available. 2 months after I finished was the sale. My mom was hunting for some other books at it, and in about 10 minutes I'd come bouncing back to her with the hardcover. For $3.

I haven't been back in years, but the KC Public library, friends of the library sale is always great. Got my first 40k novels from one later on.

I know Eisenhorn was one. I think the other was Chaos Child. No idea where they are, got boxed up with my dad's vinyls while I was dealing with kidney failure and dialysis the last few years.

I actually just started reading Eisenhorn, weirdly enough!
