I have an oppertunity to be part of a cohort for an interfaith chaplincy program. One of the barriers is the cost. The program is $4000. I'd have to raise the funds. I don't know that the people I know can or will donate.

They don't offer any kind of scholarship?
Not this program, no. But they will be a bit flexible with when I'd have to pay by... but yes, I'd still have to pay.
I'm very afraid of not being able to do the program, or even getting my hopes about it up. This is important to me, and (I believe) to God. I know that sounds weird and a bit narcissistic, but after being denied the diaconate formation process, I still believe I'm called by God to do this work.
