I ask him about what solution he offers, and it's always, "There's no one solution or a magic wand..." and I find that "answer" unsatisfactory. There are things we can do, we just choose not to so that"responsable people" can still feel like robocop or whatever.
We collectively have to take action, and we won't as long as the left is to chicken shit to stand up to the NRA (and stop taking their money) and the right is allowed to keep their talking points as valid excuses for inaction.
Something needs to disrupt this cycle of violence that is literally traumatizing and killing multiple generations.
