If you think there's something calling you intonation season of discernment, listen in prayer and pay attention to what people and events say. Discernment isn't just about church position. It's a posture for life and a pursuit of vocation. Ultimately, we discernment God at work wherever that is.
This is good advice. Early on I used to get lots of positive feedback but now it is more routine what I do. I'll keep listening though.
I found there was a real value in having formal meetings (as, with a specific purpose, not in a suit and tie 😁) where people familiar with the process of discerned asked good and challenging questions of you.
