This means that Bluesky does NOT own/control your data. When you make a post on your profile, there's tech that says "this is really this person and ONLY they can post to this account". If you own the server your profile is on (and you can!), then literally nobody else can touch that data [2/4]

What does this have to do with lists? Well, when someone makes a list, they host it on their profile, which can be hosted on their server. They are the only ones who can modify their profile. You don't have their keys and can't change their list; it's their data and not yours [3/4]

I did figure out that if you highlight your response and click writing tools, you can then click proofread. It will underline suggested edits that you can choose to accept or not. I’d still like an edit button bc I cringe sometimes when I read my response later and see errors.

That’s actually a good feature, one not available on Facebook when I was there. My friends kept sending malicious links in their messages. I would check outside the app and my only recourse was to block the sender as FB had no support. I deleted FB.
