Did you see the autopsy photos of Rosenbaum and Huber? They each had small, bullet-sized entry wounds. They had not been vaporized.
Heres a good look at what a .556 does to a bicep. Vaporized is a good descriptor.
You don’t suspect a hollow point round, designed to flatten on impact, would have caused equivalent or worse localized damage to a bicep? It is reasonable to conclude that it would.
No because i have seen what these injuries look like. Not even close. The .556 bends and tumbles and shreds. The reason it was developed was for higher automatic fire as it was lighter than the 7.62. It was literally designed to kill humans for war. Not sure how thats contestable.
