Vultures by the vegetable garden eating a squirrel. Didn't expect that today. A 3rd one joined, flying straight toward the window where I was standing. Those birds are MASSIVE. Never dull around here! (My poor squirrel though...)

Vultures are our county's road kill clean up crew. I have to brake often for them.

The circle of life, I guess. They're a roadside feature during the warm months in my neighborhood. They and the crows often mistime their escape from oncoming traffic, so I've taken to honking at them as I approach.

Nobody's bothering the garden at all. They're all very polite and there's so much for them to eat, they never look at it.

I think he must've been roadkill. We have so many squirrels this year, they're in the road a lot. 😕
