One of my friends is homeless in DC and the only way they've avoided the sweeps so far is bc we managed to crowdfund a hotel room for the past few days. Funding has been slow though and I'm terrified I'll log on tomorrow and they'll be gone. Fuck this awful regime and fuck this country bc this

Terrifyingly common & unsustainable. Pls caution against Craigslist etc. scams that offer housing in exchange for "work". Some take your phone right off. Wish I had some productive tips; focus on students looking for another housemate? Also not totally safe, but might be worth a try. Solidarity.
