I'll be generous and say a lot of people will misconstrue that wordy question as "who makes the final decision on whether you get a vaccine?" And obviously most adults do. Some ppl also have severe issues with "giving up control".

To be fair, Independents are well known for their aversion to giving up control & self determination. Yet they still went with “Your doctor”

Good point. I do notice the doctor numbers are similar across the political groups, but the yourself numbers vary a lot. Indies are closer to R than D. Idk, my theory is just part of what's going on.
